Gervale Homes is a family-owned business that provides portable homes and park cabins to our valued clients.
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join us.
This role will be based in Dandenong South working alongside a small team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing/ drawing layouts for sustainable homes with high-end materials and finishes.
The key duties of this position will include the following:
Design drawings as per consultation with the Sales Team
Ensure that product design complies to all Building Codes, Australian Standards, Engineers calculations & relevant state codes.
Produce working production drawings & material specification.
Interpret working drawings to production staff.
Provide solutions for production issues as they arise.
Update & control all standard drawings to relevant codes.
Research new parts/products and produce working drawings and/or instructions to production staff for installation in accordance with OH&S legislature.
Produce Council submissions.
Support sales with technical information.
Leisure Homes research and development.
The successful candidate must also have the following:
Experience in the Building & Construction industry.
Architectural drafting experience.
AutoCAD experience
Mechanical drafting experience.
6 Star energy rating experience.
Strong understanding of building processes.
Knowledge of OH&S requirements.
Building Codes knowledge & experience.
Australian Standards knowledge & experience.
NSW local government manufactured home estates, caravan parks, camping grounds & movable dwelling knowledge & experience.
