Due to continued organisational growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join our fantastic team. The Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and successful delivery of the organisation's project portfolio. The role leads and supports Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the organisation's portfolio.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within approved budgets, and in accordance with scope and contractual requirements.
Maintain oversight of project performance, reporting, forecasting, and delivery outcomes.
Prioritise and manage project resources across the portfolio to optimise operational efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and manage Project Managers and project delivery teams.
Provide guidance and support in project planning, problem solving, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Implement consistent project management processes, tools, and documentation across the organisation.
Monitor project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and profitability across the project portfolio.
Ensure appropriate contract administration and financial management practices are implemented.
Identify and manage commercial risks, variations, and claims.
Support business leadership in achieving financial targets and revenue forecasts.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
About you
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or a project portfolio.
Proven leadership experience managing Project Managers or multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
Experience in contract management, budgeting, and commercial oversight.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, and decision‐making capabilities.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Professional certification such as Project Management Professional, PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent (desirable).
