Make it your story.This position reports toLocal Business Area ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesABB’s NEMA Motors Division is looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities to drive business growth. In this role, you will consistently meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue generation, profitability, market share expansion, and high customer satisfaction. Your expertise will shine as you identify and develop new sales opportunities. This position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. Apply now to advance your career with a leading technology company!Responsible for achieving sales targets and sustainable growth for ABB NEMA Motors Division, focusing on order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.Promote NEMA legacy and specialty products through education and advocacy, collaborating with ABB divisions, external partners, and targeted end-users.Support existing Channel Partners and local team members, identify and qualify new partners, EPCs, System Integrators, OEMs, and End-Users across Australia.Uncover new opportunities, prepare sales plans and documentation, ensure efficient marketing activities, manage administrative procedures, and collaborate with the Marketing team at industry events. Travel expectations include approximately 50% domestic and occasional international travel.Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.Proven experience in seeking new business and business development, particularly in the Electrical/Mechanical Industrial Segment.Preferred experience with electric motors and new business acquisition.Strong sales skills with a proactive, hunting mindset.Excellent communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.Good understanding or interest in various industrial segments, including hospitality, chemical, oil & gas, medium to heavy industries, data centers, and food manufacturing.More about usABB’s NEMA Motors Division is a marketer, designer and manufacturer that offers Baldor-Reliance industrial electric motors, primarily in North America.
