Position
Full‑time Store Manager – St Kilda Salvos Stores (Number of Positions Available: 1). Reporting directly to the local Area Manager.
About the Role
The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store operates at its best, delivering the highest level of service, maintaining an attractive presentation, and achieving key performance targets.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a large team of paid and volunteer staff.
* Maintain high levels of customer service and engagement.
* Meet budget targets and manage store profitability.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Oversee merchandising, store presentation, and product assortment.
* Sort, price, and prepare donated items for sale.
* Manage on‑site parking and coordinate public transport accessibility.
About You
* Excellent management and leadership abilities.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly motivated, energetic team player with the ability to work unsupervised and on a rotating roster.
* Extensive retail experience with a proven history of providing extraordinary customer service.
* Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Integrity and alignment with The Salvation Army Mission and Values.
