About the role
Carcare Motor Company, a leading provider of automotive services, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in Joondalup, WA. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service, excellent pay and working hours, no weekends and 2pm Friday finishes.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnosing and repairing faults in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
2. Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing to keep vehicles in optimal condition
3. Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and providing recommendations to customers
4. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
5. Collaborating with the team to share knowledge and best practices
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry developments
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field / Air conditioning experience and qualification is looked upon favourably
2. Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent qualification is required
3. Air conditioning qualifications are preferred but not mandatory for this position
4. Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a similar workshop environment
5. Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required
6. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
7. Proficiency in the use of state of the art diagnostic equipment and tools
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
9. Good communication skills and ability to guide and mould our high quality apprentices
10. A valid driver's licence
11. Provisional driver's licence or higher is required for this role
12. Australian work rights are mandatory for this position
