Job Description
* Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
* Supporting the month-end close and preparation of financial reports
* Working closely with operational teams to record and process sales, purchasing, and operational transactions
* Assisting with cash flow monitoring and basic treasury accounting
* Processing payroll data accurately and in a timely manner
* Reconciling bank accounts, supplier statements, and intercompany balances
* Maintaining accurate accounting records, journals, and supporting schedules
* Preparing draft management and financial reports for review
* Assisting with BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
* Supporting year-end processes and external audits
* Ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
* Sound understanding of core accounting principles
* Experience with invoicing, payment processing, and month-end reporting
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Exposure to foreign currency transactions
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
* Actively pursuing or recently commenced CPA or CA qualification
