About the role
Laucke Mills is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in South Australia's, Barossa Valley. This full-time position is a crucial role within our growing business, responsible for overseeing our financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and the efficient management of cash flow, payroll, and accounting systems. The role provides financial insights to support business performance and works closely with the Managing Director, external accountants, auditors and key stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to the leadership team
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, accounting standards, tax obligations, and internal policies
4. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
5. Contribute to strategic decision-making as a key member of the management team
What we're looking for
1. Qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
2. Proven track record in a senior finance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment
3. Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
4. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
5. Proficient with financial software and IT systems, experience with Pronto would be an advantage.
