Regional Operations Lead
You will play a pivotal role in delivering safe and efficient rail services by managing frontline teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring reliable train operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading a proactive safety culture
* Coordinating yard and traincrew operations
* Implementing process improvements to reduce asset downtime
* Ensuring effective crew deployment to support scheduling and rostering
* Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with team members
* Conducting incident investigations and driving safety outcomes
About You:
You are a results-driven leader who excels in fast-paced operational environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality results through people.
You will also bring:
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Frontline Management (desired)
* Strong leadership skills and knowledge of safety principles including experience with incident investigations
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams, assigning tasks, and solving problems in operational settings
* The ability to engage, coach, and motivate team members while setting clear direction
* A sound understanding of train handling, provisioning procedures, network route knowledge, safe working systems, and crew deployment
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness
