Hope Ability provides assistance to people living with disability to achieve their goals and independence in their daily life. We provide required support in different settings, e.g. SIL, Respite, employment, and secured care.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver quality support to our participants in an accommodation setting
Promote participants' choice and control in their daily activities
Follow behavior support plans to support participants living more independently
Assisting participants for community events, appointments, shopping, cleaning, cooking etc.
Assist our participants in achieving their goals
Have cultural competencies to deliver appropriate support
To be successful you must be:
* Available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
* Must have at-least Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or higher
* Must have at-least one year of relevant experience
* Must have a current first aid and CPR certificate
* Possess a Current NT driving license
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the person-centered support approach or willingness to embrace this model of support
* Be comfortable supporting participants with intellectual and physical disabilities, higher medical needs, and involvement with the justice system
* Thrive in a team-based environment where we work together to support the well-being of our participants
