**About the role
As the operational lead for the RBWH Risk Management portfolio, you will collaborate across the Safety and Quality Unit (S&Q), service lines, and executive teams to plan, manage, monitor and evaluate risk. Your expertise will help ensure safe, reliable and high-quality care across one of Australia's largest tertiary hospitals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Embed consideration of risk into related RBWH wide organisational frameworks including clinical governance, compliance, planning and performance frameworks.
Provide RBWH Executive with advanced clinical expertise and leadership in risk management including strategic advice and recommendations on complex risk management matters and, oversight of risk mitigation activities.
Provide leadership, direction and development of the risk management function and an annual risk management plan, across RBWH, to align risk management with the strategic goals of RBWH and MNH.
