An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader Fleet & Building Services to effectively lead and manage the operations of Councils mechanical workshop, fleet and plant procurement, building services and general depot operations.

Essential:
7. Relevant professional qualifications and or extensive experience in plant and fleet management and building services
8. Demonstrated experience in the leading and facilitating project and change management
9. Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of strategic business plans and budgets and generating innovative approaches to effectively deploy resources for solutions and services
10. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the capability to negotiate and resolve issues and the ability to persuade and influence at a strategic and operational level
11. Demonstrated skill in managing maintenance scheduling, and works programs, preparing cost estimates for plant and maintenance programs and procurement
12. Demonstrated experience and skills in contract management, procurement of goods, services and equipment and sound stakeholder engagement skills
13. Demonstrated experience in WHS and demonstrated ability to prepare safe operations procedures, risk assessments and safe work method statements
Desirable:
14. Experience in the preparation of tender specifications
15. Working knowledge of NSW POEO Act and Regulations
16. Construction Induction Certificate
To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
