Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American and European investors. Gunn Agri Partners manages over $1.2bn of assets and commitments across five investment platforms. Gunn Agri manages agriculture assets Australia wide in mixed farming, grains, grass‐fed protein, tree nuts, stone fruit and natural capital.

About the Role
As Accountant, you'll provide support across financial accounting, reporting, compliance and administrative activities for our core agricultural entities. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical accounting skills with strategic insights in a fast‐growing, purpose‐driven organisation.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, build strong professional relationships and take a hands‐on approach to accounting challenges. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help ensure strong financial discipline and contribute to informed decision‐making. This role suits a technically capable accountant who enjoys working in a hands‐on and evolving environment.
You will bring:
* 2–3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
* CA/CPA qualification preferred, but not essential
* Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and reporting requirements
* Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
* Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, self‐driven approach with the ability to meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
* Prepare accurate month‐end and year‐end financial results
* Support monthly financial processes and journal entries
* Generate management reports and Cost Centre P&L statements
* Analyse cost centre performance and collaborate with General Managers
* Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
Financial Accounting
* Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards
* Document and apply accounting methodologies for complex transactions
* Provide technical accounting support to internal stakeholders
Statutory Compliance & Controls
* Lodge indirect tax returns accurately and on time
* Prepare draft statutory accounts and maintain documentation
* Enforce month‐end timetables and financial control policies
Balance Sheet & Process Efficiency
* Complete account reconciliations per month‐end schedules
* Streamline accounting processes to achieve month‐end close within 5 business days
* Maintain and enhance general ledger structure for accurate reporting
* Oversee inventory valuation processes
