About The Role...
An exciting opportunity has opened at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) for a Content Manager & Editor. As a key member of the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing content plans and strategies across various RAS business units.
Your Key Focus Areas Will Be
* Develop Content Marketing Plans supporting marketing and business goals of the RAS organization & its brand pillars
* Integrate content across multiple traditional and digital channels
* Manage content creation and production, including publications, websites, digital marketing, and SEO practices
* Oversee photography & videography vendor management
* Draft speeches & biographies as needed
* Proofread internal communications and documents
* Build and maintain relationships internally and externally
* Ensure brand consistency and guardianship
* Advise colleagues on content strategies and campaigns
You Will Have
* 5+ years' experience in journalism, publishing, or relevant fields
* Strong copywriting skills, both short and long form
* Project management skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and grammar in English
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Experience in agriculture and/or events (desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Suite/Photoshop and Content Management Systems (desirable)
