Your New Role
Murdoch University is recruiting two WIL Senior Officers to strengthen both the operational delivery and systems and support functions of the Work Integrated Learning team.
Depending on skills and experience, the roles will primarily focus on either WIL Operations or WIL Systems and Support, while working closely together to deliver effective, compliant, and high quality WIL outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to support WIL and placement opportunities
* Coordinate placement activities including student support, supervisor liaison, compliance checks, documentation, communication, and reporting
* Support consistent and high quality placement delivery across disciplines
* Provide education, training, and support for SONIA and other WIL related systems
* Develop and maintain access guidelines, user documentation, and system processes
* Ensure consistent use of SONIA across all university disciplines
* Collect, analyse, and report data to support compliance, planning, and decision making
* Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $80,000 – $98,000 plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:
* Relevant qualifications and experience in WIL, placements, or equivalent education and training
* Demonstrated coordination skills in managing WIL or placement programs effectively
* Strong stakeholder management, building productive internal and external partnerships
* High digital proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), with the ability to learn new software quickly.
* Experience with placement and student management systems (e.g. SONIA), including data quality, reporting, and user support is desirable.
* Experience with web content or front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS, and the ability to support or maintain digital content is desirable.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork capabilities, with initiative, problem-solving skills, commitment to equity, and the ability to work independently.
