Pay : $ 42.91- $ 66.09 per hour plus super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Marrickville, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
* Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
* Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
* Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
* Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Marrickville:
Join our vibrant team at Goodstart Marrickville, a welcoming early learning centre nestled within the grounds of Marrickville Public School. With strong community ties and a location that’s hard to beat—just a 10-minute walk from the local shopping centre and surrounded by cafés and gyms —our centre offers convenience and connection. We are operating at near full capacity (98%) with five dynamic rooms and a dedicated team of 30 educators across the week. The successful candidate will be placed in a room and work within a rotating roster, supported by a positive team culture that values growth, engagement, and respectful communication. We welcome applicants with or without Assistant Director experience, and offer 2 hours of non-contact time weekly.
