Deputy Principal (Student Services)
Allendale Primary School is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Deputy Principal (Student Services) to join its high performing leadership team. The role requires a strong moral purpose and an unwavering commitment to put positive student outcomes at the heart of all decision making.
Responsibilities
* Lead a culture of high expectations and coordinate complex student case management, including disability resourcing applications.
* Collaborate and communicate with Lead Education Assistants and the APS Student Services Team.
* Support teachers and allied professionals to reflect on practice and identify performance improvement areas.
* Engage productively with parents, carers, and external services and lead the Positive Behaviour Support program.
* Use data to analyze the impact of whole school approaches and make necessary adjustments using a structured change management system.
* Utilize the Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model to manage student wellbeing, social‐emotional learning, and behaviour support.
* Collaborate with the Deputy (Teaching and Learning) to ensure Tier 2 and 3 intervention programs provide targeted support.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
* Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
* Valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and provision of Screening Clearance Number per Department of Education requirements.
