Job Description
This role plays a key part in maintaining and evolving a high‐performing kitchen, supported by an experienced leadership team and well‐established systems.
* Leading, developing, and inspiring a diverse kitchen brigade
* Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development
* Working closely with the procurement team to manage suppliers and product integrity
* Ensuring strict compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
* Managing food cost targets, labour efficiency, and overall kitchen financial performance
* Building strong relationships with heads of department, group leadership, and key suppliers
* Driving ongoing product and recipe development in line with the venue's standards and direction.
Qualifications
Key Selection Criteria
* Proven experience in a similar role within a premium dining or hatted environment
* Strong leadership capability with a track record of mentoring and developing teams
* Ability to perform in a fast‐paced, high‐volume setting
* Solid commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and food cost controls
* A genuine passion for hospitality, with awareness of current industry trends
* Impeccable presentation suited to a high‐end, open kitchen environment
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
* Strong focus on product knowledge, team training, and recipe consistency
