Operations & Optimization Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot storage systems to ensure maximum availability. Take ownership of incident resolution across production and non-production environments. Manage storage capacity, patching, provisioning, and ticket escalations. Leadership & Mentorship Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team. Serve as the technical lead for complex storage issues and continuous improvement efforts. Automation & Innovation Champion automation of storage operations using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Support alignment with DevOps/Agile methodologies for streamlined service delivery. Collaboration & Compliance Work hand-in-hand with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure seamless integration. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. Experience leading initiatives or mentoring technical teams. Technical Expertise In: HPE, Hitachi, Cisco, Brocade SAN fabrics, Nutanix, NetBackup, HP tape libraries. Storage provisioning, performance optimization, and capacity planning. Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python). Hybrid cloud and cloud-ready storage integrations (AWS/Azure a plus). Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced settings. Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement.
