The Retail Liquor Specialists Group is an Australian Company who own and operate multiple liquor stores across NSW and ACT.
This family owned company is now expanding its business operations further, to include an IGA supermarket and liquor store, at a green field site, based in Tamworth NSW.

The Tamworth expansion program has created the opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager, to join the team on 19 January ****; to manage the company's existing liquor stores as well as the new liquor store planned for Tamworth
Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations & Buying (HOPS), the role of the Operations Manager is to ensure that business processes run efficiently, resources are optimally utilised, and goals are met within budget and on time.
The role will include but is not limited to: overseeing daily operations; managing buying processes and budgets; developing and implementing processes; leading and motivating staff; maintaining compliance and safety.
RLSG's 12 Liquor Store Managers located in ACT and NSW will report directly to the Operations Manager, who will be based in either Tamworth or Wingham NSW and will be required to travel to all store locations on a rotational basis.
Employment Conditions
Permanent full time position
Competitive Salary – range of $104,000 to $120,000 dependent on experience
Generous Bonus - based on the achievement of two KPIs
Vehicle - fit for purpose
Choice of base location - Tamworth OR Wingham NSW
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Business or relevant experience
Minimum three years' (recent) experience in a similar role
Experience of managing multi sites in a broad geographical location, in person and/or virtually
Problem solving abilities that adapt to a variety of situations
Proven negotiation skills in a commercial environment
Ability to develop strong working relationships
High level of MS Excel skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
Drivers Licence (evidence of driving record)
Proven experience in buying of merchandise at medium to high volume
