Laser Cladding Operator
Position Types: Full‑time, Up to $35 p/hr
Location: Cavan South Australia
The Role: We are searching for a Laser Cladding Operator. This full‑time position offers a true one‑on‑one training experience covering all aspects of the Laser Cladding process. You will gain hands‑on experience while completing internal training programs.
* Learn about different industrial components and how they can be reclaimed.
* Work with varying metal powders and application techniques.
* Program robots and lasers via a computer control panel.
* Follow safe work methods and use personal protective equipment.
This position would suit someone with Metals Industry experience, a Trades Assistant/Machine Operator or welding background. Full training will be provided, covering all aspects of the Laser Cladding process. You will also have the opportunity to learn about different applications, robot programming, engineering drawings and more. No prior experience is required; a genuine interest in engineering, good mathematical understanding, mature mindset and willingness to be trained are essential.
