Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. This role involves delivering best practice evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy and supportive therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering person-centered nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment
* Providing supervision and support for less experienced clinicians
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills
