Analytics Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled laboratory technician to join our team as an Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily analytical work to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operations.
* Carrying out sampling and analysis in accordance with established procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
* Conducting a range of laboratory tests including digestate, feedstock, fertilizer, pathogens, and metals analysis.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment, including equipment and pilot plant areas.
* Coordinating the collection of samples in a timely and scientifically sound manner.
* Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and licensing requirements.
* Developing a thorough understanding of the anaerobic digestion and fertilizer production processes.
* Entering data into software systems for accurate tracking and analysis.
* Providing technical support and expertise to resolve laboratory-related issues.
* Managing chemical inventory and storage systems, as well as laboratory spare parts.
* Reporting and recording any health and safety incidents or equipment breakdowns.
* Supervising laboratory staff, including students, as required.
