**Job Description**:
We are seeking Quality Assurance (QA) & Risk Manager who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. This role will oversee QA activities and act as the first point of contact for QA, Risk and Issues for the program.

Reporting to the Australian QE&C Manager and working alongside a high performing Program Management Office (PMO), you will have the opportunity to add value in the delivery of a key program. You will perform QA audits, risk management and evaluations on the effectiveness of processes relating to Leidos Quality Frameworks. Within this role, you will also be collaborating with the Technical Leads including Engineering, Service delivery, Contract and Architectural Leads.

This role will enable you to install a framework of improvements to processes and procedures across the program through collaborative approach to Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) while utilising a number tools.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

The QA & Risk Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:

- Working closely with the PMO, Management team, and quality & risk teams to review/identify quality issues and develop resolutions or corrective action plans
- Actively engaging in end-to-end risk mitigation planning, resolution, and monitoring activities
- Consulting on processes development in relation to the Quality framework and implementation of improvement activities
- Providing Input into and performing annual reviews of the Quality Management and Assurance Plans (QAP)
- Executing Quality Control activities in accordance with the QAP
- Conducting reviews of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and work products
- Reporting on performance metrics (e.g. KPI's)
- Supporting and conducting Internal program audits for ISO and Leidos standards
- Reviewing the results of metrics analysis to determine whether additional process audits are needed
- Being responsible for the audit surveillance activities conducted on key suppliers
- Providing training and awareness to program staff
- Building and maintaining strong and positive working relationships and effective means of communication with key project stakeholders

**Qualifications**:
**About You and What You'll Bring**

**Skill Required**
- Quality assurance and control experience in an ICT service delivery environment
- Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic fast-paced environment

**Desirable Skills Required**
- Experience working with the following tools: SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira, Confluence
- Understanding of ISO 12207 as it applies to ISO9001
- Knowledge of Agile development systems, PMBOK/Prince2 and/or ITIL experience
- Experience of developing and implementing processes
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Experience of Internal, external and supplier auditing

**Applicants must hold Australian Citizenship and have or be eligible to obtain an Active Baseline clearance to apply.**
