Every day our Case Managers help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured worker's recovery and return to work.
* Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs
* Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy
* Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
* Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments
* Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team
About You:
* You should have minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme
* An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support
* A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills
* Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management
* A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently
