Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Highly Skilled Machinist / Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Pakenham. In this role, you will be responsible for using a variety of machinery, assembling and fitting mechanical parts, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will also need to have knowledge of hydraulics, fitting, and using overhead cranes.
Health & Safety
* Actively participate in establishing a safe working environment for all employees.
* Lead by example in adhering to HSE requirements.
* Maintain Shadbolt PPE standards at all times.
* Report any HSE issues to site National and Regional leadership.
* Engage in safety training programs provided by Shadbolt Group.
Qualifications And Experience
* Certificate III Mechanical Fitting trade certificate or similar qualification.
* Strong experience with manual lathes, milling machines, and drills.
* Highly skilled in fitting abilities and knowledge of hydraulics.
* Experience using overhead cranes.
* Forklift ticket required.
* Current driver’s license.
