We are seeking a Vet Nurse to join our team on a Part-Time Basis!
Findon Vet Surgery, located in the western suburbs of Adelaide, has been serving the community since 1991! Housed in a beautifully renovated building that was once a medical clinic, our hospital is not only highly functional but also a welcoming and pleasant place to work. Key responsibilities
* Part-time role, 25 hours a week
* Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
* Performing minor procedures when required
* Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
* Collaborating with the vetteam to ensure high standards of patient care
* Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
* Reception duties and customer service
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursingwith a minimum 2+ years' clinical experience
* Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* A calm and friendly presence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
