This role will give you the opportunity to work for a global brand, within a busy role, where you will have the opportunity to grow professionally, whilst being supported by a close-knit, hard-working team.
**If you are interested, this is what success looks like as our Accounts Payable Officer;**:
- Review and enter global Stock/COGS invoices received by suppliers 
- Create weekly payment reports and determine required stock payments based on supplier terms and weekly budget allocation 
- Assist with entering Operational invoices received by department heads ensuring that the appropriate approvals have been given. 
- Obtain supplier credit notes for short shipments of stock and for packaging rebates 
- Complete weekly quality control credit requests from suppliers and prepare weekly and monthly reports on credits received 
- Processing bill payments in the ERP by monitoring discount opportunities and due dates. Uploading file for authorisation into bank account. 
- Reconcile supplier statements and chase up invoice discrepancies. 
- Set up new suppliers in the ERP and ensure that we remain compliant with current GST legislation. 
- Ensure that all invoices are compliant with ATO guidelines. 
- Manage the invoice electronic filing system and assist with providing appropriate documentation at audit. 
- Manage the accounts payable ledger and provide commentary in the AP ageing report by category weekly and for month end management accounts. 
- Assist the Finance Team with any other ad hoc monthly management account reporting. 
- Assist the Finance Team with implementing policies and procedures. 
- Key contact for AP related queries for Audit. 
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
**Skills and Experience;**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable Officer in an ecommerce/retail business desired 
- A team player, willing to assist tasks outside of role scope to support business priorities 
- Immediate experience with Excel 
- A high attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines 
- Ability to multitask and be hands on 
- A strong team focused attitude
