We are seeking interested Registered Nurses to join our nursing team on the acute medical ward

As a Registered Nurse in SESLHD, you will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of person-centred care; and leading, supporting and supervising other nurses/ midwives and care roles. Sydney Hospital is Australia's first hospital and dates from the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788.
The Hospital is in the heart of the Central Business District in Sydney within easy walking distance to public transport. For staff who drive to work subsidised parking is available on site.

Selection criteria
1. Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse that applies to medical clinical setting
3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and be able to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
4. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
5. Current computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
6. Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement person-centred practice.
7. Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to patient care.
8. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
