About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Village Hospitality Manager, the Food & Beverage Attendant plays a key role in delivering warm, friendly, and high-quality hospitality services to residents, families, and guests across our café and restaurant venues. This role focuses on creating welcoming dining experiences, responding to resident needs with care and efficiency, and upholding exceptional service standards aligned with LDK's values of Love, Decency, and Kindness.
This is strictly a casual role working anywhere between Monday to Sunday with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position in the future.
* Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all residents and guests
* Ensure that resident and guest requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is always delivered
* Familiarise yourself with the food and beverage offering to answer any questions residents and guests may have
* Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately
* Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with resident expectations
* Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that residents and guests can be seated in a timely manner
* Ensure the dining areas are clean and well always presented and assist with cleaning duties as required
About You
* Experience and the willingness to excel in the hospitality industry.
* Ability to provide exceptional food and beverage service.
* Excellent customer service skills and proficiency to work as part of a high performing team.
* Courteous and pleasant attitude towards residents, guests and colleagues.
* Confidence to work proactively and autonomously.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one).
* (Desirable) Food Safety Certificate
* (Desirable) Completion of accredited Barista Course
