IT Engineer / Developer – PHP, SQL, Onsite Southeast Suburbs Melbourne Blake Oliver Consulting is supporting a long-standing insurance business in southeastern suburbs to appoint an IT Engineer / Developer who can work across development, support and project delivery. This is a hands-on role supporting a set of bespoke PHP/SQL platforms that run the core of the business. What you’ll be doing Enhancing and maintaining internal platforms built on PHP and SQL Helping deliver ongoing projects including an underwriting platform uplift Managing Linux/Windows servers and contributing to cyber and IT policy work Building online forms, updating the website, and supporting BAU improvements Supporting internal users across PCs, servers, and day-to-day IT issues What we’re after Solid PHP and SQL experience Comfortable working with bespoke custom-built systems Strong communicator who enjoys working directly with business users Previous experience working in regulated and compliance heavy industries (eg: Insurance, Banking and Finance etc) Able to work onsite five days per week Linux experience is useful but not essential Why this role Stable employer with real growth plans Succession pathway into the leadership Newly fitted offices with secure underground parking Interesting mix of development, problem-solving, and project work Direct access to decision makers and a system you can actually influence Equal Opportunity Employment Blake Oliver Consulting and our client are equal opportunity employers.
