Job Opportunity
We are seeking caring individuals to assist our aged care clients in living independently at home for as long as possible. As a Community Worker, you will travel around the Mid North Coast area, assisting with general household tasks, transportation, meal preparation, social support and personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
* General household tasks include vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing beds and washing.
* Transport to appointments and shopping.
* Meal preparation.
* Social support or respite for family/carers.
* Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
Requirements:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
* Good communication skills.
* A reliable team player.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety.
* An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program).
* Willingness to apply for a police check.
