We are seeking an experienced and qualified HR professional to support our global business operations.
The successful candidate will join an existing team of global HR practitioners, with a direct report to the Global Director.
A professional, strong, and articulate manner and approach are demanded in this position. The HR professional will provide concise and consistent HR services across the entire employee life-cycle, ensuring a superior level of internal customer service is being met throughout our organization and for all stakeholders.
* Lead and support a range of HR functions that sustain our business operations and company initiatives in the following areas: Resourcing and employee on-boarding, Global mobility (Payroll, Immigration, Tax), Labor management and scheduling, Employee and Industrial relations, Organizational change, People & Performance development, Compensation and benefits and Rewards & recognition
* Implement and execute successful local and / or international resourcing and onboarding initiatives.
* Provide organizational policy interpretation, development, and implementation
* Provide Industry agreements and award interpretation
* Provide support and guidance to managers through employee relations issues from facilitating investigations to supporting performance improvement and disciplinary processes.
* Support the business on generalist HR related matters
* Participate in organizational change initiatives for business units and/or teams.
* Support in reporting deadlines and compliance activities as required
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
* Be a team player
* Degree in Human Resources (or equivalent)
* Min 5 years' Generalist HR Advisor or Business Partner experience in a similar role
* Demonstrated experience in and working knowledge of broad HR functions, including employee relations, award & policy Interpretation, change management and talent management.
* Global Mobility and International experience (advantageous)
* Have worked with Recruitment and HRIS databases
* Proactive, professional and communicate extremely well.
* Be flexible, excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills
* Demonstrate resilience and the ability to think quickly to resolve unpredictable problems/situations on a local and global scale
* Strong attention to detail partnered with excellent analytical skills
* Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
