**Job Description**
We are seeking an HR Advisor to provide essential HR support and advice across the business. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Manager - People Operations and collaborate with other departments to deliver outstanding results.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, payroll and entitlements.
* Supporting employees and managers with performance and minor disciplinary matters.
* Assisting with data collection for workplace investigations.
* Contributing to policy development and updates.
* Reviewing payroll data and employment contracts.
* Drafting HR-related documentation.
* Supporting performance reviews and remuneration processes.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
* Ability to understand payroll processes and review payroll data.
* Capacity to interpret industrial instruments and employment information.
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience in HR administration or HR advisory roles.
* Tertiary education in Human Resources or a related field.
* Background in the construction, engineering, or mining sectors.
