It is funded to improve clinical and consultancy services, promoting integration between EIP and headspace, and enhancing pathways for individuals at risk of psychosis and serious mental illnesses who typically do not access standard mental health services.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide effective care during the early phase of illness, including proactive engagement and clinical therapies.Reduce the duration of untreated psychosis, minimize impacts of first episodes, foster recovery hope, and improve quality of life for consumers, carers, and families.Collaborate with other agencies for psychosocial interventions aimed at recovery and relapse prevention.Assess complex youth mental health presentations at Headspace and conduct outreach activities such as home visits.Coordinate collaborative care and targeted interventions for young people at Headspace (Camperdown) at risk of developing psychosis.For more details, view the Position Description.Ideal CandidateExtensive experience as an Occupational Therapist (AHPRA registered) or as a Social Worker at Level 2 or higher.Understanding of and commitment to recovery-oriented services for young people.Advanced skills in assessing and managing young people with mental health issues.Experience working with young people with complex needs, including emerging mental health problems, co-morbidity, and substance use.Note: Must hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 or P2 acceptable).Benefits and PerksPaid Parental Leave & Annual Leave loading.Tax savings options via Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing.
