**About the Role**:
Based at Haymans in Burleigh Heads, and reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will be the key person responsible for the coordination of all incoming and outgoing goods via the warehouse to our clients.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Leading and supervising the day-to-day management of the warehouse activities.
- Daily mentoring of a young trainee cadet.
- Warehouse supervision, ensuring the general warehousing duties are done; including the accurate receiving and dispatching of goods from suppliers and customers.
- Stock administration, including entering new stock on computer register and coding goods.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
- Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch.
- Providing excellent customer service, face to face and over the phone.
- Understanding and observing standard safety and security precautions.
- Ad-hoc duties around the branch as required.
**About You**:
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
- Have at least one year of experience in a similar warehousing role.
- Hold a valid Australian Forklift license.
- A valid Australian MR driver's licence with a good driving record would be a nice to have, but not essential.
- Be results driven with a high attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication skills and a customer focused mindset.
- Have a thirst for product knowledge and a real drive to learn new skills.
- Be more than happy to move around and be on your feet all day - this role can be physically demanding at times and requires someone with a "can do" attitude.
- Be comfortable with being on the go throughout the day and physically capable of picking and packing up to 25kgs as and when.
- Have a thirst for product knowledge and the ability to effectively multitask.
- Have good time management skills and a proactive work ethic.
- High attention to detail, you notice mistakes and errors quickly.
- Great at managing your time and prioritizing your workload.
