We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician/Power Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team in Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment. As an Electronics Technician, you will work closely with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize electronic components and systems. Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic devices and systems according to specifications and engineering designs.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist in designing and prototyping new circuitry and electronic systems.
* Document all findings, maintenance actions, and updates for future reference and compliance.
* Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions for technical challenges related to electronic systems.
* Calibrate and adjust equipment and systems to maintain accuracy and functionality.
* Maintain an organized and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
* Provide technical support and training to team members and clients as required.
Skills:
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
* Hands-on experience with electronic testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
* Strong understanding of electronic components and their functions (resistors, capacitors, microcontrollers, etc.).
* Knowledge of soldering, wiring, and assembly techniques.
* Familiarity with software tools for design and simulation (e.g., CAD software, simulation programs).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., IPC soldering certification) are a plus.
* Previous experience in a similar technician role or internship is preferred.
* Basic knowledge of programming languages related to electronics (e.g., C, C++) is an advantage.
* Valid driver's license may be required for on-site visits or travel.
* Ability to lift and carry equipment as necessary.
