About The Role
You will be responsible for growing our existing client base, develop new opportunities within the Australian and New Zealand Dairy, and Food and Beverage Fermentation sectors. This role offers the chance to work closely with clients in a solutions-based approached to their cultured foods and fermentation development. You will work closely with the Head of Asia Pacific Sales to expand the market and also liaise with Key Accounts managers globally where multinational clients need local follow-up and development.
Duties And Accountabilities
* Execute Dairy/Food growth strategy for Australia and New Zealand whilst driving brand awareness for Sacco System.
* Manage, develop and execute the sales plan and meet/exceed sales targets through maintaining and growing existing customer base and develop new customer relationships in-line with agreed Key Performance Indicators “KPI’s”.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments and consult with clients to understand their specific requirements, challenges, and objectives.
* Gather, analyse customer, competitor, and market trends from Australia & New Zealand.
* Define the right range of product suitable to market trends for Australia and New Zealand, prepare the business cases for launch of these products to extend our presence.
* Prepare and provide a regularly updated sales forecast and reporting on account status to internal stakeholders.
* Attend local and occasionally international trade shows and congresses.
Your Skills And Experience
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Science, other sciences could be considered, which can include Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology.
* Experience from the dairy industry would be highly considered; Experience in handling big Key Accounts and distributors in a B2B environment is will be highly considered.
* One or more years working in a similar role or in a current science-based role that is client facing
* Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated successes in building strong internal and external relationships through communication, influencing, negotiation and collaborative networking skills.
* You must be self-driven, culturally sensitive and able to work autonomously.
* Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
* Able organise projects to deliver successful outcomes.
* Customer-oriented mindset with positive entrepreneurial spirit able to create a high-performing sustainable business.
* Ability to travel domestically at least quarterly and internationally at least once per year.
* Experience within sales/business development and/or marketing is advantageous.
