We know that awesome people make us a great company, and we're excited to be recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager ( 12 month contract) to develop all consumer and grassroots marketing strategies & initiatives for the Wilson brand equity, architecture, concepts and storytelling to drive awareness and market share in the Australia & NZ markets.
The role reports to the Head of Wilson and is a critical position within our organisation that willact as an internal change agent to challenge the status quo and elevate the Wilson brand.Working directly with each Business unit, this role will ensure a harmonized approach for the development and execution elements for go-to-market plans, utilizing various marketing and grassroots channels.Leading our internal team, this role will ensure effective execution of all marketing activities, supporting both the sell-in & sell-thru process to ensure maximum impact of resources and return on marketing investments.
The Senior Marketing Manager willlead the process for local brand strategy and deliver marketing insights, strategies, and solutions across functions like digital marketing, consumer marketing, sports marketing, public relations, commercial/sales, retail and ecommerce.
What's involved:
·Customising Global marketing strategies for local use and direction – key global properties includingUS Open, Roland Garros, NBA, NFL, plus and exciting emerging Wilson Sportswearbusiness unit.
·Interpret and act onlocal consumer trendsand needs related to sport and community to develop brand story/ seasonal story/marketing calendar.
·Formulate theannual brand goals and target- In charge of brand marketing plan and budgeting plan.
·Based on consumer insights,develop key brand and product storyand formulate holistic communication plan including assets/media/activation etc.
·Leading the ideation and integration ofcross-functional marketing campaigns, develop campaign strategy, leading concept and integrated marketing plans, closely work with commercial and merchandising teams.
·Setdigital marketing strategyacross social media platforms. Drive digital-led consumer journeys informed by consumer insights and analytics.
·Direct localcontent development strategy, identify and evaluate vendors, generate and brief content direction, and oversee project management.
·Setsports marketing strategy, build strong network including top athletes, junior players, coaches and sports stadiums to support the brand communication with consumers.
·Enableonline and offline storeswith sufficient VM support, including store format development, in-store content creation and distribution, new store opening, seasonal revamp.
·Leadership ofnew and existing Wilson partnershipsacross all Wilson brands such asPadel Australia, & Basketball NSW.
·Support B2B communication events, like thetradeshow/ key accountmeeting projects
·Contribute into brand decision process such asproduct developmentand channel strategy, based on consumer insights.

The ideal candidate will have:
·10+ years' experience in Retail Marketing leadership roleswith experience in global consumer lifestyle apparel or sports brands.
·Global, national and local partnership management
·Sports marketing and strategy experience
·Highly developed marketing, leadership and communication skills
·Ability to influence stakeholdersacrossa matrixed environmentwith multiple geographies, cultures and languages.
·A proven track record inbuilding strategies and partnershipsthat supports Wilson's evolution.
·Ability todrive changeand lead high performing teams.
·Ability tobuild programs from the ground up, partnering with cross functional teams to bring programs to the consumer
·Astrategic and agile mindsetandstrong commercial acumenand the ability to inspirebreakthrough thinkingand continuous improvement.
·Advanced MS Office skills and systems applications.
