Job Description:
We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our team at our Belconnen clinic in Canberra. As a DPA (District of Workforce Shortage) and MM1 (Modified Monash Model 1) location, this is a great opportunity for an overseas trained GP looking to work in a high-demand area and make a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
* Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
* Perform minor surgical procedures and provide emergency care when necessary
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
* Participate in educational and training activities to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge
* Adhere to all relevant medical standards, regulations, and ethical principles
Requirements:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to gain this on AHPRA's Expedited pathway (MRCGP/MICGP/FRNZCGP)
* Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in general practice
