We are partnered with a global company for the recruitment of a new Engineer on a contract basis.
This is an initial contract position, but with views of being a long-term role. For the right person, the company intends to make this position permanent. It's a great opportunity to join a well known brand in the market and build your career.
This role is based locally in Darwin, and is working 38 hours per week, with the potential for extra hours when required. We are open to candidates who are interested in moving to Darwin from other cities.
Our client manufactures pre-cast concrete piping, amongst many other products and services. The role would be a combination of Engineering duties (primarily Civil and production engineering), as well as sales, estimating, liaising with customers, and supporting the Area Manager with day-to-day engineering related tasks. It would be a broad role giving you exposure to a variety of different tasks. The perfect job to apply what you've learnt, and to learn more.
We are seeking someone with degree qualifications in Engineering. The role does have elements of civil engineering, however, we are open to candidates from different engineering disciplines. You'll also ideally have some previous experience in a similar role. Other prerequisites include being able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen, and hold a current and clear police check.
