VIC, Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre - Portland 3305
We’re on the look out for energetic and motivated Group Fitness Instructors! All training provided based on the requirements of the business.
We are seeking instructors to teach at our Centre, specifically for Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, Boxing, RPM / Spin and Aqua Fitness classes. You may also be required to complete a few shifts on the gym floor delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver programs and personal training to members on an as needs basis.
Responsibilities
- Teach group fitness classes including Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, Boxing, RPM/Spin and Aqua Fitness
- Deliver high levels of customer service and support on gym floor as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Relevant Program Certification (eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running and Pilates)
- Working with Children's Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
Cert 3 In Fitness Preferred, But Not Essential. Previous industry experience is highly regarded.
