Fire Protection Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you will play a critical role in maintaining facility infrastructure and critical systems at OASIS.
This is a professional service position that requires the execution of technical repair and maintenance of all assigned facility wet and dry suppression equipment. You will be responsible for inspection, testing and maintenance of fire sprinklers and associated infrastructure in accordance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and test fire sprinklers and associated infrastructure
* Repair and install associated wet and dry suppression systems and infrastructure
* Work with operational and maintenance personnel to coordinate life safety system impairments as required for repairs, maintenance and new installations
* Maintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment and systems
Requirements:
* NICET II or III - Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems
* Strong understanding of Work Health Safety (WHS) Act, and EHS policies & procedures
* Demonstrated understanding and experience working within Facility Maintenance or similar technical environment
* Strong understanding and knowledge of technical terminology relating to Electrical infrastructure and electronic equipment
