We seek a highly skilled Senior Server Engineer to drive our organisation's server infrastructure forward.
* This role encompasses designing, implementing and maintaining Windows Server environments, including migration to a new Active Directory Forest in a high-availability setting.
* The ideal candidate will have expertise in VMware virtualisation infrastructure aligned with industry best practices.
* They must be able to implement security remediation and uplift in line with organisational requirements.
* Proficiency in using monitoring tools for troubleshooting and optimising server environments is essential.
* The successful candidate will install, customise and maintain Windows Server operating systems and server hardware to meet performance expectations.
* Additionally, they should possess the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues collaboratively.
* A key responsibility will be producing and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
* Close collaboration with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams will also be required.
