About the Role
Reporting to the Taree Office Manager, you will take on a senior role in delivering high-quality services to clients and supporting the development of our team. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and offers exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing accurate financial reports, workpapers, statements, and tax returns
* Advising clients on accounting and tax issues, providing proactive recommendations
* Taking ownership of client meetings, from individual tax to company and trust presentations
* Assisting managers with workflow planning, job allocation, and offshore staff coordination
* Driving system and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff with queries and compliance issues
* Developing skills in tax planning and advisory through mentoring from branch managers
* Building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
What We're Looking For
* CPA/CA qualified (or working towards completion)
* Strong public practice experience with sound tax and compliance knowledge
* Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted client relationships
* Proactive and solutions-driven with strong attention to detail
* A supportive team player, with a willingness to mentor and guide junior staff
