Job Overview
The Centrecare Service seeks an experienced Team Leader to oversee and guide a diverse team of staff working across youth services, reintegration, early intervention, and financial counselling services. The successful candidate will support families, children, young people, and adults by ensuring the high-quality delivery of programs that meet contractual requirements in a professional and ethical manner.
The Role
* This position will be responsible for managing the staff who work in the programs by providing practical support and direction for clients facing complex issues.
* Strong networking skills are required, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and attend relevant meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Reports, statistics, and management board reports will need to be drafted, reviewed, and contributed to on a regular basis.
* Regular management supervision and group case management reviews will also be undertaken with staff.
* Training may be provided to staff on internal processes as required.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Justice, Psychology, Social Work/Sciences, Childhood Development, or related disciplines is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in leading and working within a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
* Specialist knowledge of community services and service delivery is necessary.
* Experience in case management, report writing, tender writing, and coordination of client services is vital.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Understanding of culturally appropriate, strength-based approaches to client services is essential.
* Ability to work under policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality is necessary.
