The Mantra at Sharks Hotel is located alongside Southport Sharks and central to the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge precinct, the hotel includes 120 hotel rooms and suites, two conference rooms and a rooftop bar.
**About the Role **
Key responsibilities include:
- Greet all guests that come into contact with Guest Services and ensuring the guests name is used at all times
- Check guests in and out of the property accurately in a friendly and timely manner
- Handle guest enquiries and provide information on local attractions, services and give directions as required
- Take reservations as required
- Answer telephone calls within three rings in a professional friendly manner
- Communicate with Housekeeping to ensure relevant information is transferred
- Deal effectively with guest complaints and feedback in an efficient and professional manner and liaise with relevant manager
**To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following**:
- Outstanding customer service skills and focus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in guest service agent role.
- Experience working with Sihot Software
- Competency using Microsoft Suite
- Have a keen eye for detail
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Enjoy working in a team
- Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
