The Organization

The Port Lincoln Football League (the League) comprises six football clubs of seven teams, incorporates an Umpire Panel, and is based at Centenary Oval in Port Lincoln. This is a diverse, dynamic, and progressive sporting body which embraces good practices, teamwork, support, and success.

Role

To assist in the implementation and management of programs and facilities at all levels of the Port Lincoln Football League as determined by the Board of Management (Board).

Key Responsibilities

* assist in the day to day running of the League and the implementation of the rules and regulations of the League.
* attend meetings of the Board and Committees as designated.
* assist in the management all aspects of recording including clearances, registrations, goal kickers, results, and tables.
* assist in the proper function of the League office during designated events, making necessary announcements.
* assist in the organisation of main events to ensure main events to ensure that they are conducted successfully eg. Presentation Nights
* assist in the development and maintenance of the League web site and social media platforms and the production of the weekly budget during the winter season
* assist the Operations Manager with any other duties as designated and negotiated

Personal Abilities / Skills / Knowledge

* Have a working knowledge and appreciation of the Port Lincoln Football League constitution, structures, and philosophies.
* Proven ability to work with a range of people and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team situation.
* Demonstrated good time management skills
* Has computer skills and knowledge, and a working knowledge of AFL PlayHQ
* Must have Working with Children accreditation.

Requirements & Qualifications

Report To

* In the first instance, the Operations Manager
* The Independent Board members – Operations & Finance
* The Chairperson of the Board of Management

Tenure

In the first instance, this will be a one (1) year appointment commencing asap and concluding December 8th 2026 with the possibility of an extension of tenure.

Working Conditions

* Casual position
* Flexible hours
* Office space and ICT equipment provided at the League Room, Centenary Oval.
