About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in delivering an innovative, in-house web-based system that integrates market and power system analysis.
* Develop robust back-end infrastructure in Python to support power system analysis tools. This will involve leveraging expertise in software development to build scalable and efficient solutions.
* Build intuitive graphical user interfaces using Vue.js for engineers to execute simulations. The successful candidate will have experience with front-end development and be able to create user-friendly interfaces.
* Update existing Python tool code to enterprise standards. This may involve refactoring code, implementing new features, and ensuring compatibility with our internal platforms.
* Collaborate with Power System Engineers to implement new power system analysis functions and ensure compatibility with our internal platforms. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Document processes to maintain the MANA platform. This will involve creating technical documentation, process maps, and other resources to support ongoing development and maintenance.
* Provide support for the existing AEMO Modelling Platform (AMP). This may involve troubleshooting issues, providing training, and assisting with ongoing maintenance and development.
