Overview of the Role
This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Wills and Estates support specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal secretarial work, preferably within the Wills and Estates field.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will be proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Wills and Estates team, including preparation of wills, EPOAs, and associated estate planning documents.
* Assist with word processing, typing, and collating correspondence and other documents, amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately.
* Perform digital dictation when required.
* Manage calendars, monitor client timeframes, and provide reminders as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong experience as a legal secretary, preferably within a Wills and Estates practice.
* Demonstrated understanding of legal terminology, principles, procedures, and forms.
* Self-starter and proactive initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
