Field Service Technician
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and trade qualified Field Service Technician to join our team in Port Headland, WA.
The role involves servicing, fault-finding and breakdown requests for large fluid power installations and hydraulic projects.
You will operate on a 12 - 9 roster with flexible additional hours available if desired. Flights, accommodation and vehicle will be provided on shift. Flight transfers will also be available from all capitals.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to external service and breakdown requests
* Installation and commissioning of large fluid power installations and hydraulic projects
* Study system requirements and develop proactive responses to faults, maintenance or modernisation topics
* Fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting
* Hydraulic system fault finding and testing
* Order components, perform tests, identify further repairs and spare parts opportunities
* Maintain customer confidentiality
* Prepare service quotations and follow up with the customer
* Upload relevant External Service documentation
* Ensure quality control through documenting tests and installations
* Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations and testing on hydraulic components and associated equipment
* Regular customer contact and client management
Requirements
* Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Hydraulic / mechanical fitter trade or equivalent
* 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience
* Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
* High focus on quality and attention to detail
* Dynamic performer and achiever
* Planning and organisational skills
